Green Bouquet

Q: What is a green wedding?
A: A green wedding is an eco-friendly way to celebrate your special day. This can be done by incorporating one or many things into your ceremony and reception that benefit the environment. Whether you are a casual recycler or an environmental champion, a green wedding is for you and can be tailored to your beliefs and style.

Q: How do I make my wedding green?
A: Making your wedding green can be as simple or involved as you choose. There are many unique ways or small changes you can make to your wedding that reflect your eco friendly style. The choice is yours and not all ideas are suitable for everyone’s style, but there is something for everyone. Incorporating one’s own beliefs and personalizing a wedding can be both rewarding and challenging, which is why Green Bouquet is here to help. Insert article link?

Q: What should I expect from my guests when I tell them my wedding is green?
A: Many of your guests may have never heard of a green wedding and will have some questions for you. Directing them to our resource and articles section that is free for all guests will provide answers to many of their questions. Also, if you are an emerald member, you can direct them to your personalized green wedding page, in particular the section explaining why you chose a green wedding.

Q: Which environmental organizations does Green Bouquet support via donations?
A: Green Bouquet routinely looks for environmental organizations that share similar beliefs and values regarding the environment and ways to contribute and preserve the environment. At times we may be donating to several or one as we determine. If you have further questions as to charities we are currently donating to or have in the past please feel free to contact us at mailto:greenbouquetwedding.com.

Q: Do you directly contact vendors for members?
A: No, Green Bouquet serves as a wedding resource to use at your discretion and provide you with all the information and data you need to make informed decisions regarding your green wedding and suitable vendors. It is then up to you to decide which vendor(s) are most in line with your beliefs and goals for your wedding day.

Q: Is a green wedding more expensive?
A: Just like any wedding, cost will depend on your decisions and you can include as little or as much as you want. Sometimes you are dealing with buying things locally which can cost 40% less or things that have been used before tend to be slightly discounted. However, sometimes organic products can cost 20% more since they may come from small farms that do not receive government subsidiaries. Ultimately, the decision is yours and there are options for everyone’s budget. The most important thing is to spend money in a positive way that contributes to the environment instead of contributing to more waste and environmental damage.

Q: What are the benefits of a Green Bouquet membership?
A: A membership offers you a valuable resource in planning your green wedding, supplying you with articles and resources to guide you in your planning. At the jade level, you will have access to green vendors providing services to assist you in your green wedding, as well as discounts and a complimentary welcome package. Also, at the emerald level, you can create a personalized green wedding website to inform your guests of your socially responsible decision. Finally, a portion of each membership fee is donated to an environmental organization at every level. For more information please see our membership information page.

Q: Is there any way I can contribute after my wedding?
A: The decision to live a socially responsible lifestyle is not one to be taken lightly or part-time. Green Bouquet will always serve as a resource for articles and ideas on planning eco-friendly events. Not only can these vendors assist you on your wedding day, but can provide you with the same green products to incorporate into your future social events as well.

Q: How do I provide feedback for vendors’ services for future members?
A: Green Bouquet provides a forum for members to trade their ideas and make suggestions regarding vendors to all jade members. In addition to the forum, members will be able to leave feedback and rate the vendors.

Q: What if I know of additional vendors than what is in your database?
A: Green Bouquet is always striving to be the most comprehensive green wedding source and would appreciate any suggestions or new vendors which are not currently being tracked. You can email all comments and vendor information to info@greenbouquetweddings.com.

Q: Do you email monthly newsletters and updates?
A: Green Bouquet will email quarterly newsletters to both existing members and those who have already planned their green wedding. This will keep you up to date with green issues, new green wedding ideas, highlighted vendors, and new developments on Green Bouquet, including names of organizations which we donate money.

Q: My login and/or password are not working, whom can I contact?
